Collections: Library Resources

The Library provides resources in a variety of formats for all general education topics and majors offered. All resources including books, CDs, DVDs and VHS tapes can be found by searching the Library’s online catalog (only available on-campus).

Royalty-free sound effects and images along with software training CDs and DVDs are available at the Circulation Desk. Royalty-free digital images can also be accessed via the Internet through Corbis and are available in low and high resolution. Stop by the Library for the Website and password information.

Online software tutorials by the Virtual Training Company (VTC) are available through the school Online Services Website, OLS (Student/Staff email site). You will need to download a free version of QuickTime to view the training sessions.

Current periodicals including magazines and newspapers provide information for each major.

Research Databases, such as EBSCO, Wilson, New York Times Historical, and e-Library provide indexing to journals and newspapers, select full-text articles and other research information. Subject-specific databases are also available for business, education, and other topics.
